Making a difference together

When we were putting this page together, we realized that most of our efforts didn’t get the photo treatment they deserve. And when they did, well, the quality isn't exactly gallery-worthy. We hope you’ll forgive us for the slightly less-than-perfect pictures.

About Our Charity Work

We stay involved in causes that matter to us. Sometimes at a gala table raising funds, sometimes out in the city helping people who are experiencing homelessness, sometimes in senior homes. We support women rebuilding their independence and children who deserve more stability than life has given them so far. The situations vary, the needs change, but the goal is always the same: show up and be useful.

Annual Charity Auction

Every year, we support a charity auction organised together with Helping Dolls - a night that brings together over 200 guests, unique crystal pieces from Czech glass ateliers, and collectible Barbie dolls dressed by Czech and Slovak fashion designers.
The proceeds go directly to the Endangered Children Fund, helping provide immediate care and protection for children in crisis.

Food and Essentials Collections

Closer to home, we organise collections of food and essential items for people experiencing homelessness.
These initiatives are small, direct, and driven by the simple belief that everyone deserves basic dignity and support, no matter their situation.

Support for Children and Young People

We also spend time with organisations working with children and teenagers who are navigating difficult circumstances - whether that’s instability at home or risky environments outside it.
Low-threshold centres provide a safe space, and we help however we can: showing up, spending time, and offering support without judgement or pressure.

Support for People Affected by War

When conflict forces people to leave everything behind, practical help matters most.
We’ve organised collections of food, toys, clothing, and other essentials for families displaced by war and rebuilding their lives from scratch. Monika also completed a Harvard programme in Humanitarian Response to Conflict and Disaster, which gives us a better understanding of how to offer support that is genuinely useful rather than symbolic.

Women’s Education and Independence

Our international work includes supporting a women’s centre in Sri Lanka, where access to education and basic rights information is life-changing.
We’ve contributed to programmes that help women gain confidence, understand their options, and build skills that open new paths.

Why We Stay Involved

Whether we’re helping with a local drive or contributing to a project on the other side of the world, the focus is always the same: make a tangible difference for people who are going through a difficult moment.
